Founded in 1994 by Susan Elias, Griff Technologies began as a firmware consulting firm for embedded systems, under the name Griff Consulting. In 1997, Elias Elias joined the company and we expanded into R&D for complete life sciences instrumentation adding our contract manufacturing facility shortly thereafter in 1999. In 2009 we changed our name to Griff Technologies to better reflect our company’s growing focus.

Our R&D team has been together under various life sciences employers since the 1970’s. We employ and collaborate with a highly talented and experienced team of senior scientists and engineers, veterans of Chromatronics, Berkeley Bioengineering, Humphrey Instruments, Cooper, Altex, Beckman, Apple, Rainin, Critikon, Varian, AMO, Waters and others.

Our long-standing relationships with our global critical suppliers of raw materials are a cornerstone of our manufacturing competitiveness. The same is true of our engineers and our production staff. Everyone involved in the process has been at it a long time and fully understands high quality and 100% functionality.

Our primary location is part of a 70,000sq-ft plant in Milton, MA about 11 miles south of downtown Boston, MA and we maintain a small R & D lab in Berkeley, CA.
